Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

There is nothing quite like gorgeous tulip fields in full bloom in La Conner, and this incredible sight draws people from all over the world. La Conner’s tulips bloom according to Mother Nature’s schedule - anywhere from late March to mid-April - in so check here for updated Bloom Maps before planning your trip.

La Conner Daffodil Festival

If you are planning a trip in March and the tulips haven’t arrived, you are still in luck! La Conner’s stunning daffodil fields will be in full swing for the La Conner Daffodil Festival, offering gorgeous views and photo opportunities set against the backdrop of Mt. Baker.

Mt Baker & State Parks

Home to fantastic skiing and other year-round alpine activities, Mount Baker is about an hour and a half from our La Conner inn. For a great outdoor excursion, head over to Deception Pass State Park for an easy day-trip from La Conner to explore the park’s lakes and shorelines, beaches, old-growth forests and hiking trails. The gorgeous Cascades National Park is another easy day-trip with endless trails and viewpoints, as well as Fort Eby State Park near Whidbey Island.
